Abstract

Mibelli´s porokeratosis is a keratinization disorder with highly diverse morphological expression that makes it possible to distinguish a least six clinical variants. It is characterized by single or multiple papules or keratotic plaques, with centrifugal extension and raised border, of chronic evolution. There is no known effective treatment. The classical or Mibelli form is the most frequent. A 23-year-old female patient is reported because she came to the dermatology clinic for presenting skin lesions of more than 10 years evolution; the lesions were located on the left lower limb and inner thigh. She did not refer accompanying symptoms. The histological study confirmed the diagnosis of Mibelli´s porokeratosis. The case is reported due to the rare nature of this diagnosis in our environment, with only 4 cases published to date in Cuba.
