Abstract

Fox-Fordyce disease is characterized by the presence of multiple skin-colored or yellowish follicular papules, mostly located in the armpits. It usually affects women of childbearing age and has been pathophysiologically related to hormonal factors. There are few cases described. It is presented a 17-year-old female patient, with white skin, treated at Ángel Arturo Aballí Pediatric Hospital, whom for two years has shown skin lesions in the axillary region, accompanied by pruritus. The case is presented because of its interest and the rarity of this diagnosis in dermatology services.
